Yeiryun Park, an Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies (ALIS) major in the Ivan Allen College School of Modern Languages, was one of two Georgia Tech students selected to receive Chinese Government Full Scholarships for the 2017-2018 academic year.
This is the most prestigious scholarship awarded to American students by the Chinese government and is administered by the Chinese Embassy and Consulate Generals in the United States and the Ministry of Education in People’s Republic of China. This scholarship supports students studying in a Chinese university for one year. It covers registration, tuition, housing, and textbooks. Computer Science major Luke Muehring also received a scholarship.
