The Georgia Institute of Technology School of Public Policy recently announced that Robbie Ashe, chairman of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) board, will join the School’s Board of Advisors.

Ashe has long been a key figure in Atlanta’s legal and civic communities. He is a partner at Bondurant Mixson where he represents both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. Prior to Bondurant Mixson, Ashe clerked in the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

His experience in Atlanta government is similarly robust. In addition to serving as the intergovernmental affairs manager in the Mayor’s Office of the City of Atlanta, he has also been elected by his colleagues to serve as MARTA’s chairman of the board for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The School of Public Policy is a unit of the Georgia Tech’s Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
