The Coding Arts Summer prep course is required for ALL incoming Digital Media Graduate students. This includes incoming BSMS, MSDM and PhD students. This free 3-week course introduces you to code fundamentals using p5.js. It will be offered the Summer before your first semester, and asynchronous online. If you feel that you should be waived from the course, the ADGS will provide further instructions on how to do so in May of the Spring semester. Failure to enroll in the course will lead to your Admission being deferred to the next Fall semester or being waitlisted for both LMC 6310 and LMC 6650. The discretion and final decision will be determined by the Director of Graduate Studies (DGS) and the Associate Director of Graduate Studies (ADGS).
