What is your current job? In 2 or 3 sentences, can you explain what your position is and what some of your responsibilities are?
I am a technical product manager at eBay. I lead a team of developers to create products for eBay, such as algorithmically driven placements on site to drive more traffic to eBay stores.
Can you tell us about a recent project you’ve worked on that you were really excited about?
I’ve only been at the company for a couple of months now. I’ve been working on off-site targeted advertising and creating placements to drive traffic to eBay stores. It’s fun, they let me fly all over the country and I get to interact with a bunch a people. It can be stressful at times though, a bad decision can seriously impact the company.
How do you think the program helped prepare you for your life after Georgia Tech?
Georgia Tech DM made me pick up a variety of skills fast. It wasn’t about picking one and being in expert in that one thing, it was about getting through a lot fast. This is very valuable within eBay, things change all
the time and you need to pick it up fast.
