Environmental science visualizations have the potential to translate quantitative data into representations that can be analyzed and used for legal, advocacy, and educational purposes. However, science-driven organizations lack the ability to collect, process, consolidate and distribute laboratory data freely and efficiently with generic software solutions. The water-quality interactive data visualization project is a customized system that was created to address these issues by offering a comprehensive data management and visualization solution for an environmental advocacy organization.
