Funded as part of the Georgia Tech/SAIC Strategic partnership program, the aim of this online survey was to collect demographic and other information about denizens of multiple social “metaverse” style virtual worlds. The survey was developed as a follow-up to Phase I of the Reynard project, in which the findings included a high percentage of Second Life players over the age of 45. The survey also investigates play and spending patterns in virtual worlds. Results will be released in Spring/Summer of 2012.
